Finewood was established in 1977 and has amassed a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills to bring to bear on your project.

I am proud that at Finewood, we have a dedicated team with over 220- years of combined experience in furniture manufacturing.
Our craftsmen and upholsterers bring a wealth of skill and passion to every project—whether it's creating our own signature pieces or producing collections for leading designers in the industry.​
We specialise in both custom one-off builds and large-scale production for a variety of clients, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and bespoke interiors. We’ve proudly completed projects for luxury lodges, premium restaurants, high-end hotels, and private homes for some of New Zealand’s wealthiest individuals.

Here at Finewood we work closely with a network of renowned interior designers, both locally and internationally, to create tailored, design-led pieces. With in-house CNC capability, access to an extensive design network, and a commitment to quality, we deliver precision and efficiency at every stage of the manufacturing process.

We also offer a comprehensive recovery and restoration service, breathing new life into well-loved pieces with the same care and craftsmanship we bring to every new creation.
